(a) History of Vedic and Classical Sanskrit Literature;

(b) Texts (meant for general acquaintance and not for minute study) :

(1) Kalidas’s Abhignanasakuntalam and Kumarsambhavam (Cantor I – VII);

(2) Bhavabhuti’s Uttararamcharitam and Malatimadhavam;

(3) Bharavi’s Kiratarjuniyam;

(4) Banabhatta’s Kadambari (Purvardha).
